Hi – I am a Jinanian.

I hope my write-up will be seen by those who will take prompt decision to follow me and be a Jinanian.

I still remember the day, 14^th November,2006 when I reach Jinan University with my mother on a 10 hours flight schedule from Kolkata to Guangzhou. Thrilled by the campus view, big open eyes seeing for the first time all those new designed buildings, better to call mansions, parks and lakes,  super market, canteen and restaurants, trees beside lanes, colorful flowers here and there, playgrounds with hi tech indoor and outdoor stadium,  evening lighting.

I don’t remember what else my eyes saw for the first time in life and each time the only question came to me – If we had all these in India?

The next thought strike me was I am a student of this University for next 5 years. Cannot express at this moment the wonder and thrill of my first few hours.

Got the first jerk when went for food. I and my mother could not eat whatever we ordered due to smell and way of cooking. Advised by others, we went outside the campus to a Muslim shop and had fried rice which is somewhat near to our taste.

I repent every moment and argue with God that why 5 years time passed so fast that I still think I came here only 5 months back.

Games and sports – cannot think of any other campus having such excellent facilities. Remember many afternoon and evenings, smashing the badminton cork, top spin on table tennis board, swimming in the blue oceanic water of swimming pool, playing cricket in basketball court and running to the classroom to attend night class’s up to 11night.

I don’t want to go through the academic events much except to mention that college life being the best part of a life, study is an integral part of it. We enjoyed that also. It is proved by the fact that out of 18 friends we appeared in MCI Screening Test, 10 passed in the 1^st attempt, another 3 missed for few numbers.

Yes, I passed the FMGE (MCI Screening Test). Thanks to Jinan University. Thanks to Saraswationline.com India Limited.
