Rules And Regulations

a) The Membership of the foundation will be open to any person who has completed 18 years of age, who is not of
unsound mind, irrespective of caste, religion, creed, race or class, but subject to what is in the rules provided.
b) A person male or female desirous of being a member of the foundation shall apply to Secretary in the form of
application prescribed by the Governing Council. The applicant will register application and the same will be
attested by at least one Member of the Governing Council.
c) The application for Membership shall mention the class of membership in which he / she desires to be member.
The application will be accompanied by cheque for full amount of subscription for that class.
d) The Governing Council will have absolute discretion to accept or reject any application for membership without
assigning any reason. If any application is rejected, the amount paid by him / her along with the application will
be refunded forthwith.
e) The person where application for membership accepted will be declared to be a member from the date of
application lodged in the office of the foundation and money payable along with it are paid and such persons
will be bound by the rules and regulations and may be amended from time to time.
f) The memberships of the Foundation are of 8 categories namely, Student Members, Guardian Member,
Educational Service provider members, College / University Membership, Teacher Members, Student Alumni
Members, Ordinary Persons, Co-opted Members.
g) The subscription payable by each class will be prescribed by the Governing Council from time to time.
h) The Governing Council will also fix subscription fee for ordinary member from time to time. The annual
subscription can be paid lump sum in advance for two years.
i) The Governing Council will have powers to admit, without any application, any person as honorary member if he
is holding high position in the society and it will be thereby fit in the interest of the foundation to be associated
with him. He will not be liable to pay any subscription but will have all the rights of any other member.
j) If the member subscription remains in arrears for more than one year and is not paid within 2 months from date
of issue of a notice in writing regarding payment such defaulting members shall forthwith cease to be a member
of the foundation.
k) Any member who ceases to be a member of the foundation may be readmitted on payment of all arrears at the
discretion of the Governing Council.
l) Any member desirous of resigning from the foundation shall give notice in writing to this effect at least 1 month
before close of official quarter and the resignation shall operate from commencement of the next quarter.
m) In matters relating to memberships / members the decision of the governing council/ general body shall be final
and binding.
SIEWF RESERVES THE SOLE RIGHT FOR ADMISSION / REJECTION OF THE CANDIDATE WITHOUT ASSIGNING ANY REASON WHATSOEVER.
